I took pictures today of amongst other things, apples, pears and bullrushes, but decided that these plums, with the light shining through the branches was the best for sharing.
As you can see there are a lot of plums on this branch waiting to be picked, many branches on this tree are now bare; probably the wind has blown them onto the ground.
It was supposed to rain today, not that I am complaining, that it has been sunny and warm, but the plums and the ripening fruit make me think that Autumn is on its way even though it is still August; did someone say it will soon be Christmas!
