There were a few large snowflakes this morning, for all of about
five minutes and although the weather has made several attempts at snowing, it
is just a few flakes at a time.
My husband had an Addenbrookes appointment this morning so as I am
working today, our daughter took him when she went to work; after his
appointment, he went into town before coming home on the train.
The builders are progressing well, but the floorboards, which were
ordered for delivery on Monday, had not arrived by today, so our builders have
gone elsewhere to collect them. They have to be in the warm for a while to dry
out before being laid. I am told that the other doors and windows are likely to
be in during the next week.
This European Grey Squirrel ate his lunch while watching me eat
mine; he has been named Tubby. There were three in the garden and I suspect he did not like waiting his
turn at the Squirrel feeder box do decided to help himself to the seeds put out
for the birds.
