Today was an Addenbrookes
day for my husband to have his stitches removed from his eyelid. This was a lunchtime
appointment and because of this we asked the builders not to come today so that
we could go into Cambridge for a brief visit. While we were there we had a
toasted sandwich, cake and coffee in The Green Coffee Company Café. I also took
a few pictures, bought a new bag as well as some Quentin Blake postcards and fridge
magnets.
The appointment went well,
the consultation and removal of stitches took less than five minutes and the
surgeon was pleased with the result. Then we went to Scotsdales and purchased a
couple of chairs and a small table so that we could actually sit on the
balcony. Another table and four chairs will also go up on to the balcony once
they have been refurbished.
Today’s blip was taken along King’s Parade on Cambridge, where I spotted this gentleman smoking his pipe outside the Copper Kettle café.
